Guess Who?

Can you guess who this is? Why of course, the one and only Mona Lisa. This famous portrait is said to be one the most viewed, talked about, sung about, written about, and even parodied in the world. Without researching, most of you would've guessed who this was. If you did have to look into it, that's okay too. This recreation was done with mosaic tile. These specific tiles appear to be computer keys or buttons of such. Frequently, art of this kind uses vibrant and glossy tiles. Mosaic tiles can be used by arranging them into a pattern with a specific layout of color.  The colors together either give the illusion of something abstract or real. I find mosaic artwork very complicated, as you risk the overall look with just one tile. This type of art includes precision and patience. A tile could crack or break even with the slightest of movements. Mosaic art is a very tedious and rare expression of art. You won't see it everywhere.
