Ink it on!

Tattoos

By definition, a tattoo is a mark (upon a person or body part) with an indelible design by inserting pigment into punctures in the skin. In  my opinion, a tattoo is not just ink. A tattoo might be a symbol, statement of creativity, or even a story. In all ways, tattoos are a form of art. Tattoos range from small to large, with lots of color or not. They relate to a person in several ways. For example, you can actually tell characteristics of a person just through a tattoo. Some tattoos are wild or simple, but either way they stay forever. Many people get tattoos to express  symbolic meaning for a person or situation near to their heart. For example, portrait tattoos could be sentimental for various reasons. A loss of a loved one could make somebody want a tattoo of them. Also, animals, objects, and colors could represent much more than what meets the eye. On the contrary, some people get tattoos for little or no reason at all.  Someone might find a design that is just very appealing to them. In that case, you would have to be okay with seeing the design every single day for the rest of your life. Hopefully you consider the place and design of your tattoo, according to who you want to see it. If you work in the modeling industry, you might not be hired because of one of your tattoos. Although a tattoo can be temporarily covered with makeup, the initial sight of your tattoo might be enough to reject your employment. In my judgement, I find tattoos to be a very unique and interesting way to express yourself. Even if tattoos are painful,  I would consider getting myself a tattoo in the future. Below, you can see a variety of tattoos that I thought were cool!
